Project goals (general):

  • Encourage transfer of technologies, innovations and results from academic environment to small and medium-sized companies
  • Increase competitiveness of  companies in the region (Osijek–Baranja County and Međimurje County)
  • Improve collaboration between companies and regional institutions for fostering entrepreneurship
  • Create a cross border network between universities in Maribor, Osijek and Pecs and the institutions for fostering development of small and medium-sized companies

Specific goals of the project:

  • Identification of academic R&D departments and their research results within universities
  • Evaluation of openness of small and medium-sized companies towards innovations and transfer of results of R&D
  • Creation of a we portal and a cross border catalogue of all R&D departments (units) and tools for presentation of interest and needs of small and medium-sized companies
  • Promotion and encouragement of collaboration between small and medium-sized companies and R&D departments through special events, services and trainings
  •  Connection of supply and demand in the market for results of R&D research through collaboration with consultants
