The course introduces students to the concept of franchise, explains how to get rights to a start/own a franchise, what the legal framework of the franchise business is and what it takes to make a franchise a success. Students will test the importance of a business plan in the world of franchise and to what extent a business plan helps an entrepreneur to get the money needed for starting a franchise business. The course shows the students how someone can become a franchisee and what activities contribute to quality franchise management as well as risk management.
