1. Lecture “American Culture: The Real Deal”

    A lecture on American culture titled “American Culture: The Real Deal” will be held in Osijek, organized by the Fulbright Foundation and the US Embassy in Zagreb. Within the lecture, book “Domestic Manners of the Americans”, by Fanny Trollope, English authoress from the 19th century will be presented. Lecture will take place on Tuesday April, 24 at the Faculty of Philosophy, Jegerova st. 9, at 19:00, as well as on Thursday April 26, at City library, Europske avenije 24, at 18:00.

  2. Promotion of Masters of Science

    Fourth promotion of Masters of Science in Entrepreneurship was held at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek. It had an international character because three of our students from Macedonia were promoted.
    Following students were promoted: Petra Brljafa Tomčić, Aleksandra Cibreva, Sunčana Čorić Dundović, Nataša Dimovska, Ljiljana Dragišić, Ljubica Hristovska, Domagoj Karačić, Maja Karić, Željko Klepo, Anamarija Mandić, Dalibor Pudić, Sandra Senčar, Milena Škoro, Antonija Vujnović Matić, Jelena Verner Legčević and Mirna Weiss. Guest at the promotion was Mr. Goran Radman, member of the Croatian Competitiveness Council and chairman of Microsoft Corp. for Southeastern Europe, and the musical part of the festivity was performed by children’s choir Zumbići from Osijek. GP Entrepreneurship would like to sincerely thank everyone who has helped with organization of this promotion, and especially professor Marcel Meler.

  3. Joseph Lapalombara – Yale University

    Last weekend GP Entrepreneurship has had to honor to host professor Joseph LaPalombara from Yale University, who held the first lecture within his course Business Ethics for the 10th class of graduate students. Professor LaPalombara is an expert in the field of political science, and the short version of his impressive CV can be accessed here.

  4. “Guide Through Stock Exchange Terminology”

    “Guide Through Stock Exchange Terminology” is a new title written by a group of authors, which include Zoran Ivanović and Siniša Veselović, students of the 9th class of Graduate Program in Entrepreneurship. The guide was created with the purpose to fill a gap in Croatian literature dealing with the issues of stock exchange and stock exchange business. Guide can be borrowed from the library of GP Entrepreneurship.

  5. Macroeconomics, 2nd supplemented edition

    Ðula Borozan Ph.D has published a textbook entitled Macroeconomics, 2nd supplemented and revised edition. Publisher is the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Faculty of Economics in Osijek.

    What is special about this edition is the connecting of the traditional approach to interpretation of macroeconomic frameworks and policies with quality of economic life of a country through introduction of concepts of competition and entrepreneurship. With inclusion of these concepts, macroeconomic policies become more comprehensive and thus more realistic and effective.
