1. Triple Helix IX International Conference: Silicon Valley: Global Model or Unique Anomaly

    Our professor Slavica Singer participated at the Triple Helix IX International Conference entitled Silicon Valley: Global Model or Unique Anomaly, which was held on 11-14 July 2011 at Stanford University, Stanford, CA, USA. Slavica Singer was one of five panelists at the workshop entitled “The Entrepreneurial University: (R)evolutionary transformation or heresy?” at which she advocated the thesis that revolutionary change is required if university wants to survive, because of the dramatic change in the approach to knowledge which is brought by new technologies. Besides, professor Singer lead one session on the subject of Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship: “Traditional” and New Science-Industry Interface Organizations, at which one of keynote addresses was given by Henry Etzkowitz.
