On Thursday, 15 May 2025, a delegation from Zhejiang University, China, visited our university, in particular our UNESCO Chair in Entrepreneurship Education. The delegation was led by Professor Xu Xiaozhou, President of the UNESCO Entrepreneurship Education Network National Chapter in China and Director of the Institute of Global Educational Modernization at Zhejiang University, accompanied by his colleagues Professor Ni Hao and Dr Jiang Zengyu. Vice-Rector Professor Damir Matanović and Professor Slavica Singer, holder of the UNESCO Chair in Entrepreneurship Education, welcomed the delegation and expressed their interest in further cooperation in the areas of research, publications and doctoral studies. The visit concluded with a working meeting with the members of our UNESCO Chair in Entrepreneurship Education and the lecturers of the interdisciplinary inter-university doctoral programme ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATIVENESS. Professor Xu gave a speech on “Towards Quality Entrepreneurship Education: Perspective and Experience from China”, Professor Hao NI introduced the Entrepreneurship Education Journal and Dr Zengyu Jiang explained the background of the cooperation between our two universities. Professor Singer presented the pioneering role of our university in the development of entrepreneurship education in Croatia, which was awarded the UNESCO Chair in Entrepreneurship Education in 2008. The meeting ended with a commitment to continue and deepen our cooperation, especially by involving  doctoral students and researchers in joint projects.
