Into 7th cohort of Postgraduate international inter-university interdisciplinary doctoral program ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATIVENESS
for obtaining academic degree doctor of science in the field of social sciences (Ph.D.)
I
1. Postgraduate international inter-university interdisciplinary doctoral program ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATIVENESS is conducted by Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Faculty of Economics in Osijek, International Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies (ICES) in collaboration with Turku School of Economics, Finland; Univerza v Mariboru, Slovenia; Universitaet Klagenfurt, Austria; Durham University, United Kingdom.
2. Postgraduate international inter-university interdisciplinary doctoral program ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATIVENESS lasts three years or six semesters and upon its completion students obtain 180 ECTS credits and academic degree doctor of science (Ph.D.) in social sciences, field of economics.

The right to enrol in Postgraduate international inter-university interdisciplinary doctoral program ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATIVENESS is achieved by students who have:
- Completed graduate university study or integrated undergraduate and graduate university study in the area of social sciences, field: economics or law,
- Completed graduate university study or integrated undergraduate and graduate university study that is not in the area of social sciences (field: economics or law) with the obligation of passing supplemental exams,
- Completed undergraduate university study according to the study system prior to 2005 in the area of social sciences, field: economics or law,
- Completed undergraduate university study according to the study system prior to 2005 that is not in the area of social sciences (field: economics or law) with the obligation of passing supplemental exams,
- Completed postgraduate scientific (master’s) study in the area of social sciences.
Persons who have completed their studies abroad must undergo the procedure of academic recognition of foreign higher education qualifications.

With their application, the applicants must enclose the following:
1. Filled in application form (available at the web address http://www.ices.hr/en/doctoral-program/)
2. Curriculum vitae
3. Copy of the birth certificate, proof of citizenship or an appropriate document for foreign nationals
4. Certified copy of the diploma of completed study
5. Certified transcript of grades or diploma supplement
6. Recommendations of two university professors, if the average grade is lower than 3.51
7. Two photographs (4 x 6 cm)
8. Applicants who are in the system of science and higher education in the associate position of assistant are required enclose their work contract
9. Motivational essay (one page of text)
10. If tuition is paid by the employer, certified employer’s confirmation of payment of tuition fee for the applicant is required

Cost of postgraduate doctoral study
The total tuition fee in accordance with the study programme of the Postgraduate international inter-university interdisciplinary doctoral program “ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATIVENESS” is HRK 95,000.00. Tuition fee is paid to the Faculty’s bank account: IBAN HR43 2500 0091 1020 1337 6, reference number: (02) 230200-OIB (personal identification number) or date of birth.
Applicants who pay the full amount of tuition fee upon enrolment are granted a 5% discount.
Dynamics of payment of tuition fee in in instalments:
- HRK 16,000.00 upon enrolment to the study + HRK 16,000.00 by the end of year I
- HRK 16,000.00 upon enrolment to year II + HRK 16,000.00 by the end of year II
- HRK 16,000.00 upon enrolment to year III + HRK 15,000.00 by the end of year III

Student selection:
Selection of students is done according to the average grade at the graduate study, motivational essay, existing research and scientific references, and recommendation of potential research advisor. Applicants must have command of English language.
