The course deals with financial instruments needed to ensure financial means for an entrepreneurial venture. The focus is on explaining the principles on which certain financial instruments work and on emphasizing how each of them is used differently during phases of entrepreneurial management as opposed to phases of managerial management. Students will be required to know how financial instruments work up to the level of being able to choose a proper instrument in certain business cases and investment cases. In order to verify the extent of students’ knowledge of the topic, they will be required to use their knowledge in making a business plan.
